Use River Past Talkative to record plain text to audio.
Its simple user interface mimics a word processor, with
easy-to-understand controls for the text-to-speech control. Simple
combo boxes and sliders help you to define the voice, speed, and
volume. You can have the software read the text to you, or record the
text to an audio file.
Choose your output format. You can record to WAV, MP3, WMA or
audio-only AVI. It is simple to operate and you will be amazed how fast
the encoding is.
Use it to transfer emails, articles, papers, and books to your MP3
player so you can listen to them on the road. Listen to them on the
train, bus, or in your car. While reading on the road is uncomfortable
and harmful to your eyes, listening is easy and relaxing.
Use it to check the pronunciation of words. Staring at a word which

Past Talkative to teach you.
